Welcome Back to the New School Year!

Gallup-McKinley County Schools is excited to kick off another year of learning, growth, and community.

Students, we can't wait to see you on August 5th for the first day of school!

Before that, we're welcoming our staff back: 194-day staff return on August 3rd, and 192-day staff return on August 4th. We're glad to have you back and ready to make this year a great one for our students.

Summer School is starting next week! There is still time to sign up. Great opportunity to strengthen your child's skills and explore new learning experiences. An awesome way to get ready for the upcoming school year. For more information, call us at 505-721-4400.

2026-2027 is open. Please complete your Annual Update, New Registration, Kindergarten Registration. Completing your update will place your child into a class, get a device assigned and get them registered for transportation services.
